Dubai International Airport wished to introduce the DXB Connect card to the world and Global Event Management’s solution was to produce the most successful flash mob ever to perform in the Middle East.
With an extensive social media program attached to the proposition the GEM social media marketing team managed to gather over 1 million hits within three weeks of the video being uploaded onto YouTube. To date the video has now been viewed by over 3.5 million people across the globe. The project won the prestigious best use of social media at the Travel + Leisure Social Media in Travel & Tourism Awards in New York.
